Because you've never traveled outside of Ghana, you're fighting E-Levy – Diana Asamoah

Evangelist Diana Asamoah, a gospel musician, has back  comment that those who have never traveled outside of Ghana oppose the E-levy.

Evangelist Diana Asamoah stated in an interview with award-winning blogger Zionfelix that E-Levy will aid in the development of Ghana's economy.

According to her, Ghanaians who oppose the E-levy have never been or traveled to Europe, which is why they don't grasp the concept of paying the E-levy.

She went on to say that taxes are critical to a country's economic progress. As a result, we should all back the government's decision to introduce the E-levy.

"In a country like Italy, the toll is paid automatically. There will be no one collecting tolls, but you are required to pay. You pay ten euros on your way out and ten euros on your way back. Everything is subject to taxation.

"In Ghana, some individuals speak out against taxation and the E-levy because they have never traveled before." It would be really beneficial if we could explain the significance and necessity of paying the E-Levy. People will find work, and Ghana would have been really beautiful," she said
