Coach Milovan Rajevac has stated that the current Black Stars' quality is considerably inferior to that of his previous spell with the team in 2010.
He believes the current Black Stars group is missing a prolific figure like Asamoah Gyan, who can conjure magic at the eleventh hour.
Milovan spoke bluntly in a press conference ahead of Ghana's last group play against the Comoros Islands on Tuesday:
"We don't have the same lineup as we did in 2010." There isn't enough time to prepare. Asamoah Gyan is a player we don't have."
To qualify for the Round 16 stage of the AFCON 2021, Ghana would need to defeat the Comoros Islands by two goals or more and hope that Morocco defeats Gabon.
