Sarkodie receives advice from Shatta Wale to remain silent and pay attention to Samini when he speaks

Shatta Wale recently expressed his opinion on the quarrel between Samini and Sarkodie, wherein Samini labelled Sarkodie as ‘fake and disrespectful’. The award-winning rapper from Ghana was advised to always remember the immense contribution of Samini to his career since he has become a notable figure. During a live Facebook session on the 28th of January, Shatta Wale reprimanded Sarkodie for not respecting the artist who had extended a helping hand and even featured on his 2014 hit single 'Love Rock' without any reluctance.

Shatta argued that no matter how successful Sarkodie has become in the music industry, Samini will always remain his icon and legend. He asked why Sarkodie and Samini were fighting, insinuating that the rapper has become too self-absorbed since gaining the people's attention. Shatta further stressed that regardless of any issues between them, Samini must always be respected by Sarkodie and that he should never forget that.

Shatta expressed his displeasure with what occurred on Hitz FM when Andy Dosty got Samini on the line while Sarkodie was being interviewed. He said that Sarkodie should have respected Samini by being quiet and allowing him to have his say, instead of jumping in to defend himself.  Samini had posted a set of tweets claiming that Sarkodie had neglected his WhatsApp messages.

Shatta stated: "Samini is addressing you on the radio as if he was your dad...it's amazing how fame can change things. You guys tend to take everything lightly. Samini is the type of person who, when he is speaking on air, you should keep silent and pay attention due to his long experience. The path he has opened for some of us to benefit from should not be taken for granted. It's a very foolish and senseless act. It's not your fault but those 12 people in the music industry."
